Call Waiting lets you know when you have another incoming call while you're already speaking on your phone. Using the Call Hold service you can then put the first call on hold, allowing you to answer the other incoming call or to make a second outgoing call.
Your phone will usually display the number, or name, of the second caller. You can switch between the two calls whenever you want, using the options displayed on your handset, or until one party ends either call.
There is no charge for using these services. However, a second outbound call would obviously result in additional charges.
To start using Call Waiting and Call Hold, please refer to the manual that came with your handset, or the manufacturer's online guide.
Please note: Your Itemised Bill may show two outgoing calls that were made at the same time. This will happen when you have used the Call Hold service to make a second outgoing call while placing the first outgoing call on hold.
How to activate: Call Waiting is always active and available to all customers. (The service can be disabled via Customer Services.)
